#TemptationTuesday - "You've Got To Coordinate!"

This week we're focusing our ‪#‎TemptationTuesday‬, ‪#‎ThirstyThursday‬ & ‪#‎SavvySaturday‬ attention on the gorgeously modern design of a wedding featured in WedLuxe Magazine.

As you know, each week on Tuesday we tempt you with a luxury design, that makes your current wedding decor look like someone raided the neighborhood hoarder's bathroom! Ouch, now that's nasty LMBO! After we tempt you with fabulous-ness, we quench your thirst to get that design with tips on Thursday. By Saturday, you're completely hooked! That's when we reel you in with savvy pricing on our rentals and service!

So this week, we're dangling bait from an uber modern and ultra chic wedding. Its simplicity is captivating, yet its beauty is stylishly mind blowing! Oh be still our hearts, where do we begin!

The first step in any great wedding decor design is coordination! Coordination is key to pulling off any design, because it is so important to uphold the integrity of your idea from beginning to end. All weddings should have the following coordinated: the Save the Dates, the Invitations, the Ceremony decor, the Ceremony Programs, the Cocktail Hour food & beverages has to fit the setting you've created. And then finally, the Reception is a brilliant orchestra of all of these elements coming together to take your guests' breath away.

If you didn't see our posts from Tuesday, check out the full gallery from this wedding. From the invitations to the dessert table, everything is amazingly coordinated. Check it out at http://wedluxe.com/a-modern-black-tie-wedding-from-our-cur…/

Today we're going to look at the reception decor. Let's first view how well the black, white, and gold color scheme are elegantly put together. Love the black linens! Most venues offer white or ivory linens with their standard wedding banquet packages. But it never hurts to ask the question! Inquire about black linens. If they try to charge you more for them, say "foe-geeeet-about-et" in your coolest native New Yorker accent! LMBO! Hire Simple Elegance to provide you with inexpensive black overlays for your table. Overlays are cheaper than full linens and will still provide you with the base to continue re-creating this design.

Next, we love how the designer used mirrored decor to capture the natural light of the wedding's venue, without being over the top fussy. We may not have mirrored decor, but we've got glass! Glass does the same thing! Our small square vases are perfect for the low centerpieces with white flowers illustrated in this picture. Our tealight candle holders are a perfect match to theirs! And gold chargers, yea, we got that too! We can also create this exquisite tall centerpiece using more glass vases and silk orchids. If you've been following us, you know we are advocates for cutting your floral bill down to nothing by using silks instead of live flowers. How can you go wrong? You're getting a gorgeous finished product and saving money! Talk about beauty AND brains!
